Comparative Evaluation of the Performance of Spans of Control Designs in Grain Supply Chains [PDF]
A fuzzy multi-objective linear programming model is used to analyze the performances of three spans of control designs that are observed in the U.S grain industry. Performance of the grain supply chain increases with amount of control and compromise.Crop

The bi-objective travelling salesman problem with profits and its connection to computer networks. [PDF]
This is an interdisciplinary work in Computer Science and Operational Research. As it is well known, these two very important research fields are strictly connected. Among other aspects, one of the main areas where this interplay is strongly evident is

One of the main principles of the passive defense is the principle of site selection. In this paper, we propose a multiple objective nonlinear programming model that considers the principle of the site selection in terms of two qualitative and ...

Analysis of the objective space in multiple objective linear programming
A multiple objective linear program is defined by a matrix C consisting of the coefficients of the linear objectives and a convex polytope X defined by the linear constraints. An analysis of the objective space \(Y=C[X]\) for this problem is presented. A characterization between a face of Y and the corresponding faces of X is obtained.

A solving tool for fuzzy quadratic optimal control problems [PDF]
In this paper we propose an iterative method to solve an optimal control problem, with fuzzy target and constraints. The algorithm is developed in such a way as to satisfy the target function and the constraints.

Saddle Points and Pareto Points in Multiple Objective Programming [PDF]
In this paper relationships between Pareto points and saddle points in multiple objective programming are investigated. Convex and nonconvex problems are considered and the equivalence between Pareto points and saddle points is proved in both cases.
