Linear and Quadratic Functionals of RandomHazard rates: an Asymptotic Analysis [PDF]
A popular Bayesian nonparametric approach to survival analysis consists in modeling hazard rates as kernel mixtures driven by a completely random measure.

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

The semiclassical approximation of multiple functional integrals
In this paper, we study the semiclassical approximation of multiple functional integrals. The integrals are defined through the Lagrangian and the action. Of all possible trajectories, the greatest contribution to the integral is given by the classical trajectory x̅cl for which the action S takes an extremal value.

Random matrices, large deviations and reflected Brownian motion [PDF]
In this thesis we present results in large deviations theory, free probability and the theory of reflected Brownian motion. We study the large deviations behaviour of the block structure of a non-crossing partition chosen uniformly at random.

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Cross Diffusion and Nonlocal Interaction: Some Results on Energy Functionals and PDE Systems
In this thesis we present some results on cross-diffusion and nonlocal interaction. In the first part we study a PDE model for two diffusing species interacting by local size exclusion and global attraction.

Let [Formula: see text] denote a Hermite process of order [Formula: see text] and self-similarity parameter [Formula: see text]. Consider the Hermite–driven moving average process [Formula: see text] In the special case of [Formula: see text], [Formula ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

This work shows that the mechanical performance of multimaterial digital light processing (DLP) printed thermoset composites is governed by resin compatibility and interfacial design rather than spatial patterning alone. Brittle and ductile resin combinations produced premature interfacial failure, while graded interfaces and mechanically compatible ...
