Numerical Treatment of the Model for HIV Infection of CD4+T Cells by Using Multistep Laplace Adomian Decomposition Method

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2012
A new method for approximate analytic series solution called multistep Laplace Adomian Decomposition Method (MLADM) has been proposed for solving the model for HIV infection of CD4+T cells.

A Cu2S/NiOOH Heterojunction Enables Highly Selective Ammonia‐to‐Nitrite Electrooxidation at Industrially Relevant Current Densities

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Cu2S/NiOOH heterojunction enables efficient ammonia electrooxidation coupled with hydrogen evolution. Interfacial electronic modulation of Ni sites promotes selective NH3‐to‐NO2− electrooxidation at high current density. In a membrane electrode assembly, Cu2S/NiOOH maintains over 90% Faradaic efficiency of nitrite at 800 mA cm−2, highlighting its ...

Programmable Carrier‐Free All‐Enzyme Beads for Modular Continuous‐Flow Biocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Genetically encoded enzyme building blocks self‐assemble into monodisperse, carrier‐free protein beads via a droplet‐based formulation strategy. These programmable catalytic particles enable modular continuous‐flow biocatalysis, from single‐enzyme reactions to multi‐enzyme cascades and bead–bead coupled reactor systems.

Reformulation of Runge-Kutta Method into Linear Multistep Method for Error and Convergence Analysis

open access: yes, 2020
Error analysis in Runge-Kutta Method (RKM) is considerably more difficult than in the case of Linear Multistep Method (LMM) due to loss of linearity in the method, also the fact that the general RKM makes no mention of the function f(x,y), which defines ...

3D Nanorod‐Shaped Binder‐Free Ni1−xFexCo2O4 Anodes Demonstrate High Performance and Stable Operation Under Accelerated Stress Tests in Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
3D shaping of Ni1‐xFexCo2O4 spinel electrocatalyst to form high aspect ratio nanorods, made of 25 nm grain size particles and directly grown on Nickel felt, is proposed to improve the performance of industrial catalysts based on group‐VIII transition‐metal oxides.

Thermoplastic Dielectric Coatings for Flexible Electrodynamic Dust Shields: Structural and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Thermoplastic attachment is introduced as a scalable surface coating strategy to improve the durability and dielectric reliability of flexible electrodynamic dust shields. By embedding chemically modified reduced graphene oxide (CMrGO) electrodes within thermoplastic laminates, mechanical degradation, abrasion damage, and vacuum‐induced electrical ...

In Situ Formation of Ni‐P‐O‐C Interfaces in DLP‐Printed Carbon Microlattices for Efficient Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Graphical abstract illustrating the fabrication of Ni–P–O–C porous carbon microlattice electrodes by DLP printing of Ni/P precursor‐containing resin followed by high‐temperature carbonization. The resulting conductive microlattice acts directly as the HER cathode in alkaline electrolyte, where in situ formed Ni–P–O–C interfaces provide active sites for

Improved multistep method for wide-angle beam propagation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
To improve a wide-angle beam propagation method using a finite-difference technique, the generalized Douglas scheme for variable coefficients is applied to a multistep method. A truncation error of O(Δx)4 is achieved in the transverse direction.
