Spatially Configurable Conformal Sensor Integration on an Ultra‐Fine Metallic Needle for Minimally Invasive Deep‐Tissue Oxygen Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A multi‐point oxygen‐sensing ultra‐fine needle (MO‐UFN) is developed by conformally integrating a lithographically patterned flexible electrochemical sensor array onto a clinical acupuncture needle. The platform preserves an approximately 0.3 mm diameter while enabling spatially resolved oxygen profiling along the insertion pathway.

Measurement of Intrahepatic Pressure during Microwave Ablation in an Ex Vivo Bovine Liver Model

open access: yesGut and Liver, 2015
Background/AimsWe experimented with different ablation methods and two types of microwave antennas to determine whether microwave ablation (MWA) increases intrahepatic pressure and to identify an MWA protocol that avoids increasing intrahepatic pressure ...

Multistep decision-making in case-based planning

open access: yes, 2006
During the course of decision-making in case-based planning, users' experience and knowledge is very significant. This paper discusses how to incorporate them into PLANAUTHOR, a case-based planning system developed by us, before making a decision ...

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Multistep epsilon-algorithm, Shanks' transformation, and the Lotka-Volterra system by Hirota's method

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we propose a multistep extension of the Shanks sequence transformation. It is defined as a ratio of determinants. Then, we show that this transformation can be recursively implemented by a multistep extension of the $\varepsilon$-algorithm

ChicGrasp: Imitation‐Learning‐Based Customized Dual‐Jaw Gripper Control for Manipulation of Delicate, Irregular Bio‐Products

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...

LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of

Charting Endocrine Progenitors Across Species and Organs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Endocrine progenitors give rise to the hormone‐producing cells of the pancreas and intestine. Using single‐cell multiomics and proteomics, this study compares these progenitors across species, systems, and organs, mapping the conserved and species‐specific gene regulatory networks that guide their formation.
