Automated learning of t factor analysis models with complete and incomplete data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The t factor analysis (tFA) model is a promising tool for robust reduction of high-dimensional data in the presence of heavy-tailed noises. When determining the number of factors of the tFA model, a two-stage procedure is commonly performed in which ...

Statistical approach by factor and cluster analysis on origin of elements from the Hamit Plutonic (Turkey) rock samples

open access: yesBulletin of the Mineral Research and Exploration, 2019
The Hamit pluton forms part of the Central Anatolian Crystalline Complex. It is located N-NE of Kaman (Kirsehir). It covers an area of about 120 km2. The geochemical contents of 63 rock samples collected from this pluton were analyzed for their origin ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Visible Near-Infrared Spectroscopy and Pedotransfer Function Well Predict Soil Sorption Coefficient of Glyphosate

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
The soil sorption coefficient (Kd) of glyphosate mainly controls its transport and fate in the environment. Laboratory-based analysis of Kd is laborious and expensive.

Identifying gene expression signatures for risk stratification of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in colorectal cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A novel signature integrating genome‐wide analysis with clinical factors predicts recurrence in stage II colorectal cancer and enables a new risk stratification to guide postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical risk stratification for postoperative recurrence in patients with pathological stage II (pStage II) colorectal cancer (CRC) is essential ...
