Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study revealed how the osteoblastic microenvironment determines the fate of cancer cells disseminated in bone, with a focus on whether they colonize, reside in quiescence, or reactivate from dormancy. Targeting integrin signaling may offer promising strategies for preventing quiescent cancer cells reactivation and bone colonization.

The piezoelectric PLA layer enhances cell migration via electric fields, while GelMA delivers LA promoting Tregs polarization and BMP4 inhibiting FBs differentiation.

RETREG1‐Mediated Reticulophagy is Essential for Dendritic Cell Maturation and Function in Sepsis
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Reticulophagy regulator 1 (RETREG1) maintains dendritic cell (DC) maturation and function in early sepsis. Mechanistically, activating transcription factor 6 (ATF6) acts as a direct transcription factor regulating RETREG1 expression in response to sepsis‐induced endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study reveals that PDZK1 loss impairs ULK1‐mediated lipophagy, driving lipid droplet accumulation and sunitinib resistance in clear cell renal cell carcinoma. PDZK1 inhibits LEF1 nuclear translocation, enhancing ULK1 transcription. Pharmacological ULK1 activation resensitizes resistant tumors to sunitinib.
