Effects of muscovite matrix on photocatalytic degradation in TiO2/muscovite nanocomposites

Applied Clay Science, 2019
Abstract A series of TiO 2 /muscovite nanocomposites was prepared by liquid precipitation method followed by thermal treatment at different temperatures. Thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and solid ultraviolet diffuse reflection spectroscopy were employed to analyze the effects of muscovite matrix on the crystal phase, grain size and light ...

Epitaxy of Cd on muscovite

Kristall und Technik, 1973
AbstractCd is deposited on air cleaved and annealed muscovite. The Cd films were seeded by Ag. Then Cd grows epitaxially with its (0001)‐planes parallel to the (001)‐plane of muscovite.

Anisotropy in muscovite

Nuclear Tracks and Radiation Measurements (1982), 1984
Abstract Anisotropic track registration in muscovite is studied by means of a point-like 252Cf source. Impact distributions are analysed as well as distributions in azimuthal angles. It is found, by comparison with other data, that irradiation from external sources may lead to a pattern of anisotropy that differs from that of inner tracks.
