A subgroup of pediatric acute T-lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) was characterized by a gene expression profile comparable to that of early T-cell precursors (ETPs) with a highly unfavorable outcome.

ABSTRACT In pediatric patients, T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) survival exceeds 80%. Relapse remains associated with limited curative options. Frontline treatment is largely extrapolated from T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) treatment, reflecting the ongoing debate, whether both entities represent distinct diseases or variants within ...

Abstract Gastric signet ring cell carcinoma (GSRCC) is a special type of gastric cancer common in young women. Diffuse gastric cancer (DGC) begins with intramucosal lesions comprising differentiated GSRCC cells. Genetically, GSRCC and DGC are clonally identical, with their morphology influenced by extracellular Wnt signaling.

Characterisation of T cell defects in acute myeloid leukaemia
PhDUnderstanding the immune system in patients with cancer and how it interacts with malignant cells is critical for the development of successful immunotherapeutic strategies at a time when novel cancer treatment approaches are required.

Cancer Heterogeneity and Cancer Cell Plasticity: Molecular Mechanisms and Precision Therapy
Tumor progression is driven by heterogeneity occurring across multiple biological scales. At the molecular level, tumor cells exhibit alterations across distinct omics layers, including genomic mutations, epigenomic reprogramming, transcriptional changes, and proteomic remodeling, collectively shaping tumor cell phenotypes and functional states.

Targeting the Menin–KMT2A Axis in Acute Leukemia: From Epigenetic Dependency to Clinical Translation
ABSTRACT Acute leukemias characterized by a shared epigenetic dependency on the menin–KMT2A axis rely on aberrant HOX‐driven transcriptional programs that sustain leukemic self‐renewal and impair differentiation. This dependency is most evident in KMT2A‐rearranged and NPM1‐mutated acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but also extends to other HOX‐dependent ...

Ras signaling enhances the activity of C/EBPalpha to induce granulocytic differentiation by phosphorylation of serine 248 [PDF]
The transcription factor C/EBPa regulates early steps of normal granulocyte differentiation since mice with a disruption of the C/EBPa gene do not express detectable levels of the G-CSF receptor and produce no neutrophils.

Extranodal natural killer/T‐cell lymphoma: From fatal to curable
Abstract Extranodal natural killer (NK)/T‐cell lymphoma (ENKTCL) is one of the most aggressive non‐Hodgkin lymphomas characterized by NK‐cell or T‐cell origins, a geographic prevalence in Asian and South American populations, and Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) infection.
