ABSTRACT This retrospective cohort study utilized the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care database to investigate the association between the triglyceride–glucose (TyG) index and in‐hospital intensive care unit (ICU) readmission in patients with ischemic stroke (IS). Among 2929 patients, 24.0% experienced ICU readmission.

[Coronary microcirculation in myocardial reperfusion. The phenomenon of no-reperfusion].
The study of the ultrastructural features of the coronary microvessels in postischemic reperfusion.Five mongrel dogs of either sex, weighing 2 to 17 kg were studied Each dog was anesthetized with 30 mg. of pentobarbital and ventilated with room air. A thoracotomy was done and the left descendent coronary artery was isolated.

ABSTRACT Nitrooxidative stress, driven by excess reactive nitrogen species like peroxynitrite, contributes to the pathogenesis of many chronic diseases. Among its molecular footprints, 3‐nitrotyrosine (3NT) has emerged as a biologically relevant marker of protein nitration.

Bioactive Natural Products in Cardiovascular Disease: Focus on Thrombotic Events
An overview of the role of natural products (NP) in cardiovascular disease prevention, highlighting key mechanisms of action: including antiplatelet, antithrombotic, anti‐inflammatory, and antioxidant effects. Additionally, it illustrates the integration of diet–drug interactions, nutritional epigenetics, and the role of artificial intelligence in ...

Staging concept for aging management: Definition, mechanism, and coping strategies
We divided the overall aging stage into “pre‐aging”, “aging compensation”, and “aging disability”. For each stage, we delineate the clinical presentations, biological phenomena, theoretical underpinnings, and key management priorities. Abstract Aging, as a gradual and largely irreversible biological process, characterized by declining organismal ...
