High resolution schemes for bluff-body aerodynamics [PDF]
This MSc by Research study has been conducted with the application of a variety of grid configurations for extensive grid analysis along with various numerical schemes on the Ahmed body benchmark test case, in both 2D and 3D analysis.

Detecting irregular orbits in gravitational N-body simulations [PDF]
We present a qualitative diagnostic based on the continuous wavelet transform, for the detection of irregular behaviour in time series of particle simulations. We apply the method to three qualitatively different gravitational 3-body encounters.

In early solar system numerical simulations, where chaos is a primary driver, it is difficult to explore parameter space in a systematic way. In such simulations, stable configurations are hard to come by, and often require special fine-tuning.

The PRIMA Thesaurus for Materials Science and Engineering
The PRIMA Thesaurus is a structured vocabulary designed to improve how materials science data is described and shared. Developed with input from multiple experts, it enables clear documentation of research workflows, data exchange, and reuse across platforms.

Galaxies In N-Body Simulations: Overcoming The Overmerging Problem [PDF]
We present analysis of the evolution of dark matter halos in dense environments of groups and clusters in dissipationless cosmological simulations. The premature destruction of halos in such environments, known as the overmerging, reduces the predictive ...

Ultra-fast escape of a deformable jet-propelled body [PDF]
In this work a cephalopod-like deformable body that fills an internal cavity with fluid and expels it to propel an escape manoeuvre, while undergoing a drastic external shape change through shrinking, is shown to employ viscous as well as mainly inviscid

Dependency of the Bar Formation Timescale on the Halo Spin
Bars are among the most prominent structures in disk galaxies. While the widely accepted swing-amplification theory provides a qualitative framework for their formation, the detailed physical processes remain incompletely understood.

Discreteness effects in $N$-body simulations of warm dark matter [PDF]
In cosmological $N$-body simulations of warm dark matter, thermal velocities of dark-matter particles are sometimes taken into account by adding random initial velocities to the particles of simulation.

Bar Formation during a Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus-like Merger Event
Bars are among the most prominent galactic structures, yet their formation mechanisms remain incompletely understood. They can form either internally, via dynamical instabilities, or externally, triggered by interactions with other galaxies.
