Boron Nitride Nanopores: Highly Sensitive DNA Single‐Molecule Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, 2013
The first electronic measurement of DNA translocation through ultrathin BN nanopores is demonstrated. BN nanopores show much higher detection sensitivity compared with SiN nanopores. BN has a spatial resolution as graphene.

Chemically Modified Solid-State Nanopores

open access: yesNano Letters, 2007
Nanopores are extremely sensitive single-molecule sensors. Recently, electron beams have been used to fabricate synthetic nanopores in thin solid-state membranes with subnanometer resolution.
