Synthesis and Host–Guest Properties of Acyclic Pillar[n]naphthalenes
Here we report a new class of synthetic receptors, acyclic pillar[n]naphthalene (n = 2–4, Dimer, Trimer, and Tetramer) oligomers, which are made up of 2,3-diethoxynaphthalene units linked by methylene bridges at the 1- and 4-positions.

State‐of‐the‐Art, Insights, and Perspectives for MOFs‐Nanocomposites and MOF‐Derived (Nano)Materials
Different approaches to MOF‐NP composite formation, such as ship‐in‐a‐bottle, bottle‐around‐the‐ship and in situ one‐step synthesis, are used. Owing to synergistic effects, the advantageous features of the components of the composites are beneficially combined, and their individual drawbacks are mitigated.

Fluorene‐functionalized spiro‐phenothiazine (PTZ‐Fl) exhibits strong Li+ affinity and thermal stability, enabling a PCE of 25.75% in small‐area cells and 22.07% in 25 cm2 modules. Under ISOS‐L3 conditions, PTZ‐Flbased devices retain over 80% efficiency after 1000 hours, demonstrating superior stability and scalability compared to spiro‐OMeTAD for next ...

Polycondensation as a Universal Method for Preparing High‐Density Single‐Atom Catalyst Libraries
This paper presents a universal bottom‐up polycondensation strategy for synthesizing high‐density single‐atom catalysts (HD‐SACs) with metal loadings up to 27.5 wt%. Using various metal monomers with 1,10‐phenanthroline‐5,6‐dione ligands, it generates atomically dispersed mono‐ and bimetallic HD‐SACs.

Invisible static electricity poses serious industrial risks such as electronics failures and fire accidents. Detecting it is particularly challenging when positive and negative charges are densely mixed. Flexible and printed organic transistor sensors can visualize these hidden charge patterns on plastic surfaces.

The TTA‐UC from visible/UVA to UVB/C is demonstrated by combining a heptazine derivative with TIPS‐benzene‐based emitters. The heptazine derivative has a triplet energy level high enough to sensitize the emitters. The introduction of bulky tert‐butyl substituents to the TIPS‐benzene emitter is a simple and powerful strategy for enhancing the TTA‐UC ...

Exploration of Mechanochemical Activation in Solid-State Fluoro-Grignard Reactions
Owing to the strength of the C−F bond, the ‘direct’ preparation of Grignard reagents, i.e., the interaction of elemental magnesium with an organic halide, typically in an ethereal solvent, fails for bulk magnesium and organofluorine ...
