[Development of nasal dosage form of oxatomide for rhinitis].

Arerugi = [Allergy], 2004
The possibility of oxatomide as the nasal dosage drug for the therapy of nasal allergy was studied. Oxatomide was well absorbed from the nasal cavity, indicating a high permeability to nasal epithelial layer after nasal administration. Acidic pH condition further enhanced the permeation of oxatomide across Caco-2 monolayers, due to the high solubility ...

Nasal distribution of radioactive drug administered using two dosage forms.

European journal of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, 1992
The deposition patterns of 99mtechnetium labelled disodium cromoglycate particles administered either from a metered dose aerosol with a conventional nasal adaptor or from a dry powder nasal inhaler were studied using gamma camera. Disodium cromoglycate particles were firstly labelled with 99mTc using the spray drying technique.
