Fairness, Efficiency, and the Nash Bargaining Solution [PDF]
A bargaining solution balances fairness and efficiency if each player's payoff lies between the minimum and maximum of the payoffs assigned to him by the egalitarian and utilitarian solutions. In the 2-person bargaining problem, the Nash solution is the unique scale-invariant solution satisfying this property.

Bargaining solutions in heterogeneous networks: A reinforcement learning‐based approach
To enhance the performance and the coverage area of the next‐generation heterogeneous wireless networks (HetNets), smaller cells such as femtocells are deployed. A reasonable resource allocation strategy is crucial for the operation of such systems.

Optimal reservoir operation using Nash bargaining solution and evolutionary algorithms
Optimizing reservoir operation is critical to ongoing sustainable water resources management. However, different stakeholders in reservoir management often have different interests and resource competition may provoke conflicts.

A win-win supply chain solution using project contracts with bargaining games
For product supply chains, contractual relationships that provide win-win outcomes between the supply chain members, have been found to offer optimum results.

Raiffa-Kalai-Smorodinsky Bargaining Solution for Bilateral Contracts in Electricity Markets
In electricity markets, bilateral contracts (BC) are used to hedge against price volatility in the spot market. Pricing these contracts requires scheduling from either the buyer or the seller aiming to achieve the highest profit possible.

Target-Based Solutions for Nash Bargaining [PDF]
We revisit the Nash model for two-person bargaining. A mediator knows agents' ordinal preferences over feasible proposals, but has incomplete information about their acceptance thresholds. We provide a behavioural characterisation under which the mediator recommends a proposal that maximises the probability that bargainers strike an agreement.

A new fair-efficient spectrum allocation scheme for the LTE and WiFi coexistence platform
Long-term evolution (LTE) carrier aggregation with the unlicensed WiFi spectrum band has been pointed out as a good solution to handle the rapidly increasing wireless data traffic amounts.
