This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Immunity and Cancer
As a macrophage‐mediated innate defense mechanism, the dysregulated release of METs drives chronic inflammation and influences tumor progression. Furthermore, METs exhibit a functional duality within the tumor microenvironment, capable of both promoting and suppressing tumor development.

Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma: Genetics and Genomics
This chapter introduces the genetics and genomics of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). We introduce, in brief, findings leading to the current state of knowledge of what we know about the molecular genetic basis of NPC prior to new molecular advances in ...

Integrated mRNA and microRNA transcriptome sequencing characterizes sequence variants and mRNA – microRNA regulatory network in nasopharyngeal carcinoma model systems [PDF]
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a prevalent malignancy in Southeast Asia among the Chinese population. Aberrant regulation of transcripts has been implicated in many types of cancers including NPC. Herein, we characterized mRNA and miRNA transcriptomes

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

HNRNPD promotes radioresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing stress granule assembly and sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA. This suppresses GRAMD4 translation and inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis. Targeting the integrated stress response with ISRIB restores GRAMD4 expression and sensitizes tumors to radiotherapy, revealing a translational control ...
