Circulating natural killer cells in sjögren's syndrome [PDF]
AbstractReduced natural killer (NK) cell activity of peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) has been reported in a number of diseases including Sjögren's syndrome (SS). In this study, we used 2 monoclonal antibodies directed toward NK cells (anti‐Leu‐7 and anti‐Leu‐11) for determining NK cell activity in 29 patients with SS (9 with primary SS and 20 with ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

CFD Investigation of MHTGR Natural Circulation and Decay Heat Removal in P-LOFC Accident
One of the key postulated accidents in a high-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR) is the pressurized loss of forced cooling (P-LOFC) of the primary loop, which can be triggered by its primary helium circulator trip or turbine trip.

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.
