Fluid Structure Interaction Using Modal Superposition and Lagrangian CFD
This study investigates the impact of fluid loads on the elastic deformation and dynamic response of linear structures. A weakly coupled modal solver is presented, which involves the solution of a dynamic equation of motion with external loads.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Study of the Natural Frequencies of a Disc [PDF]
This thesis presents experimental methods designed to determine the natural frequencies of a disc in air and submerged in water. With the goal of showing the change in natural frequencies when the disc is submerged.

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

Crack Detection of Fan Blade Based on Natural Frequencies
A simple method was developed to detect damage based on a discrete mathematical model for fan blades using changes in natural frequencies combined with a fluid-structure analysis.

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Determination natural frequencies of rotor induction machine [PDF]
In this paper three different methods of determination natural frequencies of rotor of induction machine SF 80-4A is presented and compared. The first one is analytical; the second one uses Finite Element Program.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Natural frequencies of two elementary rigid frames [PDF]
The natural frequencies of two elementary rigid frames, the rectangular bent and the two member frame, were determined for various ratios of length, moment of inertia, and mass per unit length of the vertical and horizontal members.

Natural Frequencies of Shear Deformable Plates by Polyharmonic Splines
We use the third-order shear deformation theory and a collocation technique with polyharmonic splines to predict natural frequencies of moderately thick isotropic plates.
