Alectinib resistance in ALK+ NSCLC depends on treatment sequence and EML4‐ALK variants. Variant 1 exhibited off‐target resistance after first‐line treatment, while variant 3 and later lines favored on‐target mutations. Early resistance involved off‐target alterations, like MET and NF2, while on‐target mutations emerged with prolonged therapy.

MIF as an oncogenic driver of low‐heterogeneity melanomas
Shvefel and colleagues identified tumor‐secreted macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) as an upregulated cytokine that mediates immune resistance in melanomas with low‐intratumoral heterogeneity. MIF and its functional paralogue D‐dopachrome tautomerase (D‐DT or MIF‐2) have overlapping but nonidentical signaling functions and are hypothesized to

Summary In this contribution, we propose a detailed study of interpolation‐based data‐driven methods that are of relevance in the model reduction and also in the systems and control communities. The data are given by samples of the transfer function of the underlying (unknown) model, that is, we analyze frequency‐response data.

Novel mAbs could detect cancer‐associated membrane proteins on various type of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) by flow cytometry with viable PDAC cells and by immunohistochemistry with PDAC tissues. Results of protein expression were substantiated by mRNA expression by The Cancer Genome Atlas.

Evaluation of synaptotagmin‐1 action models by all‐atom molecular dynamics simulations
We used molecular dynamics simulations to test models proposing that synaptotagmin‐1 facilitates membrane fusion by perturbing lipid bilayers, inducing membrane curvature and/or bridging membranes. The simulations show that synaptotagmin‐1 C2‐domains placed near the site of fusion hinder the ability of SNARE complexes to bring the membranes together ...

A previous study showed that Tithonia diversifolia ethanolic extract has antiproliferative properties against HeLa cervical cancer cells. It has also shown anti-inflammatory properties in vivo, one of the approaches to cancer chemoprevention.

Efficient quantum tensor product expanders and unitary t-designs via the zigzag product [PDF]
A classical t-tensor product expander is a natural way of formalising correlated walks of t particles on a regular expander graph. A quantum t-tensor product expander is a completely positive trace preserving map that is a straightforward analogue of a classical t-tensor product expander.
