Impact of Anode to Cathode Crossover in Lithium‐metal Batteries With High‐Nickel Cathodes
Anode‐to‐cathode chemical crossover is identified as a critical degradation mechanism in lithium‐metal batteries. Full‐cell experiments with high‐Ni layered oxide cathodes and localized high‐concentration electrolytes reveal accelerated cathode impedance growth and CEI thickening driven by lithium‐metal anodes. The findings underscore the importance of

Terminologie de la néologie : lacunes, flottements et trop pleins [PDF]
International audienceThe terminology that deals with the linguistic phenomenon of neology is fairly untrue to several of the principles it is generally granted. First, a large number of terms, which are either in a synonymic or hyperonymic relationship,

Phase‐Change Solvents for Thermally Switchable Ion Conduction in Organogels
Organogels containing salts dissolved in phase‐change solvents exhibit thermally switchable ion conduction. The organogels, which display an over 10 000‐fold on‐off ratio and high cycling stability, can be synthesized with a wide range of salts and customizable conductivity/temperature relations for applications in ionotronics and energy storage ...

Francophone neology studies. Terminological complexity
The complexity of neology is amplified by its terminology. Far from conforming to the univocity principle, terms used often have one or more synonyms or quasi-synonyms. Others seem to be synonymous but represent different concepts. Finally, some concepts have not yet been given a specific name.

A quasi‐solid ionic liquid‐polymer hybrid electrolyte is proposed to achieve shuttle‐free and dendrite‐free aqueous Zn─Br batteries. Synergetic effects between Zn2+ selective conduction of polyanionic network and polybromide complexing additive suppress the shuttle effect and improve Zn reversibility.

To enhance stability and long‐term biocompatibility of wearable microneedle sensors, a crosslinking‐recombination bovine serum albumin material is used as a buffer layer coated on microneedle sensors. This coating layer possesses a unique stiff‐to‐soft transition function balancing the mechanical stiffness desired for puncturing and soft required for ...

The translation of fictive neology through the decades: a case study
Neologisms are a key factor of science fiction and world building, and their proper translation is essential if the complexity of the genre, with its usually multi-layered plot, is to be fully understood in the target language.
