Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Twenty-eight intra-arterial infusions were carried out in 25 symptomatic patients all of whom had recurrent but still regionally confined disease. Most patients had had previous surgery and/or radiation. Four of these patients died as a direct result of the treatment and ten others had complications.
