Supramolecular Chemistry in Metal–Organic Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights synergies between reticular chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. The role of supramolecular interactions in determining framework…guest interactions and attempts to understand dynamic behavior in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), particularly emphasizing the development of crystal sponges, studying reactions in frameworks and ...

Nerves of enriched categories via necklaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We introduce necklicial nerve functors from enriched categories to simplicial sets, which include Cordier's homotopy coherent, Lurie's differential graded and Le Grignou's cubical nerves. It is shown that every necklicial nerve can be lifted to the templicial objects of arXiv:2302.02484v2.

Proton Exchange Membrane Water Splitting: Advances in Electrode Structure and Mass‐Charge Transport Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review probes recent advancements in PEMWEs for green hydrogen production from the perspective of acidic OER, identifies challenges related to corrosive environments and oxidative conditions, and proposes strategies to enhance the long‐term stability of PEMWEs by addressing both catalyst and membrane electrode assembly deactivation.

Inhibition of CD44 suppresses the formation of fibrotic scar after spinal cord injury via the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway

open access: yesiScience
Summary: Fibrotic scar is one of the main impediments to axon regeneration following spinal cord injury (SCI). In this study, we found that CD44 was upregulated during the formation of fibrotic scar, and blocking CD44 by IM7 caused downregulation of ...

Engineering Triboelectric Paper for Energy Harvesting and Smart Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Engineering nano‐graphite coated paper (NG@P) is produced to serve as triboelectric layers and electrodes for TENGs. Ultra‐high power density above 14 kW m−2 is achieved due to the electrostatic discharge on the surface. Moreover, smart home sensors are fabricated using the NG@P for motion sensing and sleep monitoring, which could be used for security ...
