KDAC6 has been associated with cell motility and actin structures, but specific domain contributions are not established. The two catalytic domains have differential effects on motility and F‐actin regulation, affecting cortical F‐actin density, motility, stress fibers, and cell spreading.

Association between Dietary Acid Load and Depression, Anxiety, and Stress: A Systematic Review [PDF]
Background: Several studies have suggested a potential association between diet and mental disorders. This systematical review investigated the association between dietary acid load (DAL) and mental health outcomes such as depression, anxiety, and stress.

Evolution‐guided yeast complementation reveals functional differences in human PSPH variants
Ancient genomes can help guide which human genetic variants are tested experimentally. This study applies that idea to PSPH, a gene involved in serine biosynthesis, and uses high‐throughput yeast complementation to compare variant function. The findings reveal measurable differences among selected alleles and illustrate the value of evolution‐guided ...

We describe detailed protocols for the purification and preparation of Marchantia polymorpha Auxin Response Factor 2 (MpARF2). This protein is fused to an MBP solubility tag and an mNG fluorescent tag and is purified from Escherichia coli. The presented procedures make it possible to study MpARF2 assemblies, which could arise from phase separation ...

Heterotropic regulation and negative homotropic cooperativity
We identified a structural module common to some proteins that couple negative cooperativity with heterotropic regulation, two features that rarely coexist. These proteins are ring‐like and present an ordered asymmetry whereby noncontacting subunits are symmetric, and their tertiary structure differs from that of contacting subunits.

Dietary acid load and mortality in the Japan Multi-Institutional Collaborative Cohort Study
The impact of diet on the body acid-base balance may be related to the risk of various chronic diseases. This prospective cohort study examined the relationships between the dietary acid load and all-cause and cause-specific mortalities in a large ...

Is the acid load of the diet related to esophageal cancer? A case-control study
Summary: Background: Esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) is a prevalent type of cancer both globallyand in the northern regions of Iran. The relationship between dietary acid load (DAL) and EAC is not well established.

BCG vaccination potentiates oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal myeloid‐derived suppressor cells
BCG vaccination enhances oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal MDSCs, impairing their immunosuppressive function. It upregulates electron transport chain genes and mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP and oxygen consumption. Pharmacological OXPHOS inhibition partially restores suppressive capacity, confirming causality.
