Transcription Factor HOXC11 Drives Colorectal Cancer Progression and Metastasis via CAMK2A‐Dependent CXCL5 Upregulation
Advanced Science, EarlyView.HOXC11 drives colorectal cancer progression by transcriptionally activating CAMK2A, which triggers NF‐κB–dependent CXCL5 upregulation. CXCL5–CXCR2 signaling further reinforces HOXC11 expression through the ERK1/2–SP1 axis, forming a prometastatic positive feedback loop that is effectively disrupted by combined CAMK2A and CXCR2 inhibition.Qingyang Sun, Hengjie Xu, Sheng Yang, Jiahui Zhou, Chuanxin Tian, Hongxu Nie, Chi Jin, Tuo Wang, Zhihao Chen, Junwei Tang, Yifei Feng, Xiaowei Wang, Yueming Sun +12 morewiley +1 more sourceSTWave: Fine‐Scale Spatial Structure Discovery in Microscopic‐Resolution Spatial Transcriptomics via Patchwise Wavelet Graphs
Advanced Science, EarlyView.STWave transforms massive microscopic‐resolution spatial transcriptomics into interpretable fine‐scale tissue maps through patch‐wise inference, wavelet‐based multi‐scale encoding, and dual‐domain reconstruction. It reduces noise while preserving weak spatial signals, enabling efficient analysis of 6 40 000 spots of 2.47 GB GPU memory and revealing ...Tao Jiang, Songming Zhang, Xiaofeng Chen, Xiongtao Xiao, Wenming Cao, Weikai Li, Tong Zhao, Bing Li, Xinyue Xu, Zhongshan Li +9 morewiley +1 more sourceThe Antidiabetic Potential of Alpha‐Mangostin: A Review of Preclinical and Clinical Evidence
AgriFood: Journal of Agricultural Products for Food, EarlyView.Alpha‐mangostin is a compound from the pericarp of Garcinia mangostana. Annals of Neurology, EarlyView.Acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion is associated with rapid intravascular immune activation. Analysis of arterial blood sampled distal to the thrombus during mechanical thrombectomy revealed increased extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) levels, evidence of inflammasome priming in monocytes, and ...Justine Münsterberg, Caspar Brekenfeld, Hanna Englert, Marius Piepke, Regine J. Arthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView. Objective
Carbamylation, a nonenzymatic post‐translational modification, contributes to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) pathogenesis. Anti‐carbamylated protein antibodies (anti‐CarP) occur in around 50% of patients with RA and associate with greater joint damage. Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are a major source of carbamylated autoantigens. Arthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView. Objective
Low copy number (CN) of complement C4 isoforms and high CN of retroviral HERV‐K elements are known risk factors for many immune‐mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), often showing sex‐biased effects. Here, we assessed whether CN variation within the C4 gene contributes to giant cell arteritis (GCA) and IgA vasculitis (IgAV), two complex ...Laura Martínez‐Gutiérrez, Gonzalo Borrego‐Yaniz, José Hernández‐Rodríguez, Carlo Salvarani, María Cinta Cid, Ann W.
