Transcription Factor Binding Site Enrichment Analysis In Co-Expression Modules In Celiac Disease [PDF]
The aim of this study was to construct celiac co-expression patterns at a whole genome level and to identify transcription factors (TFs) that could drive the gliadin-related changes in coordination of gene expression observed in celiac disease (CD ...

Nanomaterials Trigger Functional Anti‐Tumoral Responses in Primary Human Immune Cells
Nanoparticles are used to improve immunomodulatory therapies, but the impact of drug‐free nanomaterials on the immune system remains unknown. Screening common biomedical nanoparticles (NPs) reveals that PLGA NPs enhanced NK cell anti‐tumoral activity and transcriptional activation in human NK and pan T cells.

In this study, we isolated and investigated the protective effect of 1,7‐diphenyl‐(6E)‐6‐hepten‐3‐ol (DPHP) against ulcerative colitis. Our results demonstrate that DPHP administration effectively alleviates colitis symptoms, inhibits inflammation, and strengthens antioxidant defense mechanisms. A combination of network pharmacology analysis, molecular

Algebraic and Topological Indices of Molecular Pathway Networks in Human Cancers [PDF]
Protein-protein interaction networks associated with diseases have gained prominence as an area of research. We investigate algebraic and topological indices for protein-protein interaction networks of 11 human cancers derived from the Kyoto Encyclopedia

Perturb-Seq: Dissecting Molecular Circuits with Scalable Single-Cell RNA Profiling of Pooled Genetic Screens [PDF]
Genetic screens help infer gene function in mammalian cells, but it has remained difficult to assay complex phenotypes—such as transcriptional profiles—at scale.

Landscape of stimulation-responsive chromatin across diverse human immune cells. [PDF]
A hallmark of the immune system is the interplay among specialized cell types transitioning between resting and stimulated states. The gene regulatory landscape of this dynamic system has not been fully characterized in human cells.

Gene network inference and visualization tools for biologists: application to new human transcriptome datasets. [PDF]
Gene regulatory networks inferred from RNA abundance data have generated significant interest, but despite this, gene network approaches are used infrequently and often require input from bioinformaticians.

Bank1 and NF-kappaB as key regulators in anti-nucleolar antibody development. [PDF]
Systemic autoimmune rheumatic disorders (SARD) represent important causes of morbidity and mortality in humans. The mechanisms triggering autoimmune responses are complex and involve a network of genetic factors.

Microglial States Are Susceptible to Senescence and Cholesterol Dysregulation in Alzheimer's Disease
Senescent microglia in Alzheimer's disease exhibit dysregulated cholesterol metabolism and express Disease‐Associated Microglia (DAM) signatures, including inflammatory and phagocytic markers. Single‐nucleus RNA‐seq from human brain tissues identified cholesterol‐related senescence gene co‐expression modules linked to microglial senescence.
