Prenatal dexamethasone exposure (PDE) persistently upregulates hepatic CYP3A1/CYP2B1 in offspring via glucocorticoid receptor (GR) activation. In vivo and in vitro studies show GR promotes P300/CBP binding to the constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) promoter, sustaining histone acetylation (H3K9/K27ac) and enhancing CYP expression. The GR–CAR pathway

Nfkb1 inhibits LPS-induced IFN-β and IL-12 p40 production in macrophages by distinct mechanisms. [PDF]
Nfkb1-deficient murine macrophages express higher levels of IFN-β and IL-12 p40 following LPS stimulation than control macrophages, but the molecular basis for this phenomenon has not been completely defined. Nfkb1 encodes several gene products including

Evolving clinical profile of HLA-DRB1, MMP1 and NF-Κb gene in rheumatoid factor positive Caucasian population [PDF]
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a systemic autoimmune condition, causes joint damage and sometimes extra-articular lesions (cutaneous vasculitis, neuropathy, Felty’s syndrome, pericarditis, intersticial lung disease) that may be life threatening.

This study identifies Pirin (PIR), an iron‐binding protein, as a critical ferroptosis suppressor in colorectal cancer through lipid membrane remodeling. PIR, induced by NRF2 during ferroptotic stress, transcriptionally regulates PLA2G4A to shift cellular lipid composition away from ferroptosis‐permissive polyunsaturated phospholipids.

NFKB1 -94 insertion/deletion polymorphism and cancer risk: a meta-analysis
Previous studies on the associations of the NFKB1 -94 insertion/deletion polymorphism with cancer risk have produced conflicting results. The purpose of this meta-analysis is to define the effect of the NFKB1 -94 insertion/deletion polymorphism on cancer risk.

This study presents an ultrasound‐responsive hydrogel (MCF@CA) that co‐delivers a neuropeptide (CGRP) and a ROS‐scavenging manganese porphyrin to diabetic wounds. The system restores neuro‐immune communication, reprograms macrophages toward an anti‐inflammatory phenotype, and clears excess ROS, thereby accelerating wound closure and promoting mature ...

The Selective Bromodomain and Extra-Terminal Domain (BET) Inhibitor RVX-208 Reduces Cocaine-Seeking Behaviour and Alters Proteomic Pathways in the Nucleus Accumbens. [PDF]
Rats treated with the domain‐selective BET inhibitor RVX‐208 during a 2‐week forced abstinence period exhibited a reduction in cocaine‐seeking behaviour but not sucrose seeking or open field behaviour. This treatment effect was associated with proteomic changes in pathways relevant to dopaminergic and glutamatergic signalling in the nucleus accumbens ...
