Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi mutu nira aren (Arenga pinnata Merr) yang berasal dari tujuh daerah sentra penghasil di Provinsi Sumatra Barat berdasarkan parameter fisik, kimia, dan metabolit. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar sampel menunjukkan kadar gula yang hampir sama.
