Time response of Nitrobacter to toxicity
Environment International, 1984 Abstract Nitrobacter toxicity experiments were conducted by using a mixed culture obtained from biomass on rotary biological contactors. The culture was treated with inorganic and organic toxicants, and the toxic effect was expressed in nitrite consumption. Contact time was found to be an important factor in toxic effect.
