Nitrogen-containing heterocycles from metal β-diketonates
Russian Journal of General Chemistry, 2011Factors determining the reaction of metal β-diketonates with hydrazine, in particular the nature of central metal ion and structure of β-diketonate ligand, are discussed. The possibility for the preparation of other heterocyclic compounds via reaction of metal acetylacetonates with phenylhydrazine, o-phenylenediamine, urea, and thiourea was studied.

Metal chelates of heterocyclic nitrogen-containing ketones
Thermochimica Acta, 1986Abstract The measurements of the electrical conductivity of 2-quinaldyl phenyl ketone, QPK, and its metal complexes were carried out in the temperature range 298–373 K. These compounds are found to possess semiconducting behaviour. The effect of gamma-irradiation on the electrical conductivity of these compounds in the 10 3 –10 7 rad range was ...

Phosphorus Crown-Ethers with Nitrogen-Containing Heterocycles
Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1996Abstract Phosphorus-containing crown-ethers functionalized by heterocycle fragments have essential advantages over the usual ones. The introduction of structural units of indoles, pyrroles and indolizines to phosphorus atom of the macrocyclic chain is capable to change lipophilic, complexing, biological and other properties of the initial crown-ethers.

The Photochemistry of Nitrogen-Containing Heterocycles
1982Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the photochemistry of nitrogen-containing heterocycles. The reactions involved during the bond cleavage and rearrangement are: electrocyclic reaction and miscellaneous reactions involving three- and four-membered heterocycles, five- and six-membered heterocycles, and medium- and large-ring heterocycles.
