Versatile High‐Sensitivity EPR Using Superconducting Spiral Microresonators

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 6, 24 March 2026.
A significant sensitivity enhancement in conventional X‐band pulsed EPR is achieved using planar spiral microresonators fabricated from high‐temperature superconducting YBCO. Fully compatible with standard instrumentation, the approach enables high‐fidelity spin control under typical sample conditions.

Structures of the reaction products of the AZADO radical with TCNQF4 or thiourea

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2013
While an addition product was formed by the reaction of AZADO (2-azaadamantane N-oxyl) with TCNQF4 (2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane), the reaction of AZADO with thiourea provided an inclusion compound, in which AZADO molecules are ...

Magnetism in Nitronyl Nitroxide Radicals and their Ion Radical Salts

open access: yesMolecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals Science and Technology. Section A. Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals, 1997
Abstract We report the results of magnetization, susceptibility and muon spin rotation/relaxation (μSR) measurements and crystal structure analyses of the organic neutral and ion radicals based on nitronyl nitroxide. Magneto-structural correlations in naphthyl and quinolyl nitronyl nitroxides, some of which exhibit ferromagnetic intermolecular ...

Quercetin Enhances Gastric Nitric Oxide Formation and Potentiates the Antihypertensive Effects of Oral Nitrite Administration

open access: yesBasic &Clinical Pharmacology &Toxicology, Volume 138, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Oral nitrite supplementation enhances nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability and lowers blood pressure. Quercetin may facilitate the reduction of nitrite to NO. However, the combined effects of nitrite and Quercetin on gastric NO formation and blood pressure have not been explored.

Construction of a screening system for lipid-derived radical inhibitors and validation of hit compounds to target retinal and cerebrovascular diseases

open access: yesRedox Biology
Recent studies have highlighted the indispensable role of oxidized lipids in inflammatory responses, cell death, and disease pathogenesis. Consequently, inhibitors targeting oxidized lipids, particularly lipid-derived radicals critical in lipid ...

The effect of mitoTEMPO on the development of hypoxia‐induced pulmonary hypertension in male mice

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 5, March 2026.
MitoTEMPO targets mitochondrial superoxide (O2•−) but showed no protective effect on chronic hypoxia–induced pulmonary hypertension. Pulmonary artery remodeling and right ventricular remodeling developed despite treatment. Abstract Mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mtROS) have been implicated in the development of chronic hypoxia‐induced pulmonary

Nitroxide-Mediated Controlled Radical Copolymerization of α-Trifluoromethylstyrenes with Styrenes

open access: yesMolecules
Fluorinated polymers are important materials in everyday life; however, most monomers of widely used fluoropolymers are gaseous, and their polymerization is difficult in an ordinary laboratory. Therefore, partially fluorinated polymers have recently been
