Use of High-Flow Nasal Cannula in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Patients Intolerant to Non-Invasive Ventilation: A Case Series. [PDF]

In this case series of 18 patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and intolerance to non‐invasive ventilation, high‐flow nasal cannula was feasible as home‐based respiratory support. Gas exchange remained stable during follow‐up despite progressive functional decline, supporting further evaluation of HFNC as an alternative or complementary strategy
