A novel strategy for nuclear gene delivery in microalgae using a cell‐penetrating peptide (CPP) and nuclear localization signal (NLS) is described. The authors developed a triple nanocomplex of CPP, plasmid DNA, and SV40 NLS to enhance nuclear delivery in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.

Symmetry broken and unbroken solutions of nonlocal NLS equation in 2+1 dimensions
In this paper, we study a general nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation in 2+1 dimensions which under appropriate nonlocal symmetry reduction leads to reverse space nonlocal NLS equation. We apply Darboux transformation and construct multiple solutions of

Advances in Cytosolic Delivery of Proteins: Approaches, Challenges, and Emerging Technologies
Proteins regulate almost all biological processes, and overcoming the protein's natural membrane inpermeability will provide a unique opportunity for intracellular targeting of related therapeutic proteins. Chemical modification of proteins and different types of delivery vectors can mediate intracellular transport of proteins, providing new ideas for ...

Scattering for NLS with a potential on the line
We show the $H^{1}$ scattering for a one dimensional nonlinear Schr dinger equation with a non-negative, repulsive potential $V$ such that $V,xV\in W^{1,1}$, and a mass-supercritical non-linearity. We follow the approach of concentration-compacity/rigidity first introduced by Kenig and Merle.

Nucleophosmin 1(NPM1) is an abundant human protein endowed with many functions whose dysregulation leads to various cancers and mutations are relevant in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). In the wild type form, pentameric NPM1 resides mainly in the nucleolus even if it shuttles toward the cytosol exerting its chaperon function, conversely in AML‐mutated ...

Karyopherin α7 (KPNA7), a divergent member of the importin α family of nuclear import receptors
Background Classical nuclear localization signal (NLS) dependent nuclear import is carried out by a heterodimer of importin α and importin β. NLS cargo is recognized by importin α, which is bound by importin β.
