Effect of tractor forward speed on field performance of zero till seed-cum-fertilizer drill in tilth and un-tilth sandy loam soil [PDF]
The zero till seed-cum-ferti-drill was assessed for field performance in sandy loam soil under tillage and no-tillage soil conditions at variable forward speed of tractor. With increase in forward speed of tractor, field capacity of the machine was in increasing order in all treatments, in tilth and un-tilth soil.

A chemostratigraphic characterization of Newmarket Till in drill core from north of Lake Ontario
The Newmarket Till (NT) covers much of the south-central Ontario forming a regional stratigraphic marker. Geochemical analysis was performed using aqua regia, four-acid, and flux-fusion digestion on 137 samples of NT collected from 8 boreholes across two regional transects to quantify potential geochemical variations through the till.

Evaluation of a Power Driven Residue Manager for No-till Drills [PDF]
The main operational problem in direct drilling of paddy straw residue is the accumulation and wrapping of loose straw within/on the tines and frame of no-till drills and traction problems with the ground wheel. A residue management equipment (RME) is developed to cut and remove paddy straw away from furrow openers of the no-till drill.
