Use of non-aqueous electrolytes in pharmaceutical analysis

1998
There are many advantages to the use of organic solvents in CE and a number of research groups have demonstrated the possibility of operating CE using non-aqueous electrolyte solutions. Table 13.1 shows a number of applications of pharmaceutical interest (1–17). Recent reviews has covered a general overview of the use of non-aqueous solvents in CE (18,

STRUCTURE OF AQUEOUS AND NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SOLUTIONS

As is known, solutions of electrolytes in solvents with hydrogen bonds have abnormally high values of dielectric constant, electrical conductivity (solutions of acids, alkalis and salts) and thermal conductivity. These facts, in our opinion, cannot be explained without taking into account the structure and structure of solutions.
