Cross‐Modal Denoising and Integration of Spatial Multi‐Omics Data with CANDIES
In this paper, we introduce CANDIES, which leverages a conditional diffusion model and contrastive learning to effectively denoise and integrate spatial multi‐omics data. We conduct extensive evaluations on diverse synthetic and real datasets, CANDIES shows superior performance on various downstream tasks, including denoising, spatial domain ...

Decomposition Multi-objective Optimizaiton Algorithm with Weight Vector Generation StrategyBased on Non-Euclidean Geometry [PDF]
With the increase of the number of objectives,mult-objective problems(MOPs) are more and more difficult to solve.Decomposition-based multi-objective evolutionary algorithms show better performance. However, when solving MOPs with complex Pareto fronts ...

Customizing Tactile Sensors via Machine Learning‐Driven Inverse Design
ABSTRACT Replicating the sophisticated sense of touch in artificial systems requires tactile sensors with precisely tailored properties. However, manually navigating the complex microstructure‐property relationship results in inefficient and suboptimal designs.

Flexible IMU Sensor Array For 3D Colonoscope Shape Reconstruction and AI‐Based Loop Detection
We propose a sensing platform for 3D visualization of the colonoscope combined with artificial intelligence (AI)‐based loop detection. The system consists of an array of 15 inertial measurement units (IMUs) mounted on a flexible printed circuit board that can be retrofitted into the instrument channel of conventional colonoscopes.

Non-Euclidean Pythagorean triples, a problem of Euler, and rational points on K3 surfaces
We discover suprising connections between three seemingly different problems: finding right triangles with rational sides in a non-Euclidean geometry, finding three integers such that the difference of the squares of any two is a square, and the problem ...

Biological rhythms coordinate physiology, from genes to behavior. Study of circadian rhythms in brain tissue is constrained by limited throughput and spatial and temporal information quality. A new platform for high‐throughput, long‐term multiplexed fluorescent live imaging of circadian rhythms in brain slices is introduced.

Le concept d’espace chez Veronese
Giuseppe Veronese is known for his studies on spaces with more dimensions; less known are his “philosophical” writings, that concern the foundations of geometry and mathematics and explain the reasons for constructing a non-Archimedean geometry (several ...

A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges
