Using a Multicriteria Interactive Approach in Scheduling Non-Critical Activities

open access: yesOperations Research and Decisions, 2018
A typical project consists of many activities. Logical dependencies cause some of them to be critical and some non-critical. While critical activities have a strict start time, in some projects the problem of selecting the start time of a non-critical ...

Designing a customer experience model in the retail industry with an emphasis on 4.0 generation retail [PDF]

open access: yesرویکرد‌های نوین در مدیریت و بازاریابی
The aim of the present study was to provide a comprehensive model for international entrepreneurship in ECO member countries. A mixed research method was used: in the qualitative part, data were collected and analyzed using systematic data-based theory ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Discourse analysis on woman's rights demands on Instagram social network [PDF]

open access: yesمطالعات رسانه‌های نوین

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Response of rice's hydraulic transport and photosynthetic capacity to drought-flood abrupt alternation

open access: yesAgricultural Water Management
Knowledge of the potential interactive effects of drought and flooding on the maximum carboxylation rate at 25°C (Vmax25) and maximum hydraulic conductance (Kmax) is essential for the precise modeling of crop growth, water-carbon cycling, and crop yield ...

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

An Enhanced Prediction Model for Energy Consumption in Residential Houses: A Case Study in China

open access: yesBiomimetics
High energy consumption in Chinese rural residential buildings, caused by rudimentary construction methods and the poor thermal performance of building envelopes, poses a significant challenge to national sustainability and “dual carbon” goals.

Suppression of lung adenocarcinoma migration through organelle alkalization by human lactoferrin – albumin fusion

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.
