On the analysis of non-isothermal thermoanalytic crystallization experiments
Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1991Certain aspects of the standard description of thermoanalytical crystallization experiments are examined. In particular, the applicability of the assumption of an Arrhenian temperature dependence of the crystallization rate constant, K, is assessed for non-isothermal transformations where the condition of site saturation is satisfied.

Non-isothermal crystallization of K2O·TiO2·3GeO2 glass
Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2009The crystallization of K2O·TiO2·3GeO2 glass under non-isothermal condition was studied. In powdered glass with particle sizes less than 0.15 mm, surface crystallization was dominant and an activation energy of crystal growth of Ea,s=327±50 kJ mol−1 was calculated. In the size range 0.15 to 0.45 mm, both surface and volume crystallization occurred.

Non-isothermal crystallization of disilicate glasses
1979Study of the crystallization behaviour of some alkali or alcaline earth silicate glasses. The authors have used the Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation to describe the glass-crystal transformation. They have established a relation between activation energy, E, and a parameter, m, linked to the reaction mechanism and the DTA curves.
