Enhanced age estimation by considering the areas of non-skin and the non-uniform illumination of visible light camera sensor

We propose an age estimation method using a weighted MLBP based on fuzzy system.With two inputs, optimal weights are obtained by fuzzy system without training.Optimal weight is assigned to histogram features by MLBP method in each sub-block.Age is estimated by SVR based on the fusion of weighted MLBP and Gabor features.

Influence of Non-Uniform Current Distribution on AC Transport Current Loss in Bi-2223/Ag Tapes

This paper presents the influence of current distribution on AC transport current loss in multi-strand high-temperature superconductor (HTS) tapes. The current-distribution-dependent-AC loss is analyzed by introducing a current distribution parameter. We calculated AC loss of multi-strand HTS tapes numerically and performed AC loss measurements as well.

The effect of non–uniform aging of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell on the polarization curve: A modeling study
