Acoustic Phonon Wave Attenuation in One-Dimensional Antiferromagnet: Effects of DM Interaction on Magnon-Phonon Coupling Factor

open access: yesAdvances in Condensed Matter Physics
The study of one-dimensional (1D) multiferroic spin chain systems exhibiting magnetoelectric coupling continues to be a primary emphasis in condensed matter physics.

Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Optical solitons and modulation instability analysis to the quadratic-cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This paper obtains the dark, bright, dark-bright, dark-singular optical and singular soliton solutions to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with quadratic-cubic nonlinearity (QC-NLSE), which describes the propagation of solitons through optical fibers ...

Modified Function Projective Synchronization of Financial Hyperchaotic Systems via Adaptive Impulsive Controller with Unknown Parameters

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2015
Modified function projective synchronization via adaptive impulsive controller between two different financial hyperchaotic systems is investigated, where the external uncertainties are considered. The updated laws of the unknown parameters are given and

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

mu-stability criteria for nonlinear differential systems with additive leakage and transmission time-varying delays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, the μ-stability analysis issue of nonlinear differential systems along with two kinds of delay components, namely, leakage delay and transmission delay, is investigated.

New Interaction Solutions of (3+1)-Dimensional KP and (2+1)-Dimensional Boussinesq Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2015
The consistent tanh expansion (CTE) method has been succeeded to apply to the nonintegrable (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) and (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equations.

A nonlinear associations of metabolic score for insulin resistance index with incident diabetes: A retrospective Chinese cohort study

open access: yesFrontiers in Clinical Diabetes and Healthcare, 2023
BackgroundThe Metabolic score of insulin resistance (METS-IR) has recently been accepted as a reliable alternative to insulin resistance (IR), which was demonstrated to be consistent with the hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp. Few pieces of research have
