Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

FPGA in the loop implementation of the PUMA 560 robot based on backstepping control

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications
The objective of this article is to present the implementation of a backstepping control regulator on a Xilinx Zedboard Zynq FPGA using the HDL Coder tool through the FPGA in‐the‐loop option, and to study its effectiveness when applied to a three ...

Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Nonlinear control of coaxial double rotor magnetic gear based on high gain observer in wind turbine

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications
This paper proposes a nonlinear control law with a dynamic controller based on high gain observer (HGO) for a co‐axial double rotor magnetic gear (CADRMG) based on Halbach array used in wind turbines.
