Self-consistent Nonlinear Classical Cepheid Pulsations during Stellar Evolution with MESA
We extend the time-dependent convection (TDC) treatment in MESA by introducing eddy-viscous dissipation. This software change brings MESA-TDC into closer alignment with the radial stellar pulsation (RSP) framework of the MESA-RSP module.

Narrowing the solar surface flux transport parameter space through nonlinear feedbacks
Context. The surface flux transport (SFT) model describes the evolution of the Sun’s large-scale photospheric magnetic field. While linear transport processes are relatively well constrained, nonlinear feedbacks such as tilt quenching (TQ) and latitude ...

Improved basal drag of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet from L-curve analysis of inverse models utilizing subglacial hydrology simulations [PDF]
The West Antarctic Ice Sheet (WAIS) is the focus of current research due to its susceptibility to collapse, which could potentially contribute to rising sea levels.

FOURIER PROBLEM FOR WEAKLY NONLINEAR EVOLUTION INCLUSIONS WITH FUNCTIONALS
The Fourier problem or, in other words, the problem without initial conditions for evolution equations and inclusions arise in modeling different nonstationary processes in nature, that started a long time ago and initial conditions do not affect on them in the actual time moment.

Predictive Value of Composite Inflammatory Markers for Stroke Prognosis: A Prospective Cohort Study
ABSTRACT Background Novel composite inflammatory markers' role in stroke prognosis is understudied, and the best predictor is unclear, requiring further exploration. Objectives This study aimed to systematically evaluate the associations of 6 novel composite inflammatory markers on stroke prognosis.

Nonlinear Volterra integrodifferential evolution inclusions and optimal control [PDF]
Volterra integrodifferential evolution inclusions of nonconvolutory type with time dependent unbounded operators and with both convex and nonconvex multivalued perturbations are studied. The results obtained are applied to distributed parameter optimal control problems. By assuming suitable assumptions on the operator \(A\) and on the multifunction \(F\

Gravity‐Dependent Modulation of Downbeat Nystagmus: Insights From Velocity‐Storage Dysfunction
ABSTRACT Objective Downbeat nystagmus varies with head position, a phenomenon termed gravity‐dependent modulation. We aimed to clarify its mechanism using a velocity‐storage model. Methods In 10 patients with downbeat nystagmus due to cerebellar disorders, we recorded eye movements at different pitch‐ and roll‐axis head positions.
