Design Strategies and Emerging Applications of High‐Performance Flexible Piezoresistive Pressure Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

Hydrogen‐Bond–Driven Ion Retention in Electrolyte‐Gated Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Anion molecular design governs ion–polymer interactions in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. Asymmetric anions induce hydrogen‐bond interactions that suppress ion back‐diffusion and stabilize doping, enabling enhanced nonvolatile synaptic properties.

Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

On the maximum principle for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic equations in general domain

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2007
We analyze the validity of the Maximum Principle for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear second order elliptic equations in general unbounded domains under suitable structure conditions on the equation allowing notably quadratic growth in the gradient

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Positive and nodal solutions for nonlinear nonhomogeneous parametric Neumann problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2020
We consider a parametric Neumann problem driven by a nonlinear nonhomogeneous differential operator plus an indefinite potential term. The reaction term is superlinear but does not satisfy the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition.

AN ALGORITHM FOR COMPUTING BOUNDARY POINTS OF REACHABLE SETS OF CONTROL SYSTEMS UNDER INTEGRAL CONSTRAINTS

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal, 2017
In this paper we consider a reachability problem for a nonlinear affine-control system  with  integral constraints, which assumed to be quadratic in the control variables.  Under  controllability assumptions it was  proved [8] that any admissible control,

The Pontryagin Maximum Principle and Sufficient Optimality Conditions for Nonlinear Problems

open access: yesDifferential Equations, 2003
The author investigates the problem: when the minimum given by the Pontryagin maximum principle is weaker than global?

Backbone‐Controlled Ion‐Side Chain Accessibility in Conjugated Polymers for Organic Electrochemical Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Backbone modulation in glycolated conjugated polymers governs ion accessibility to side chains, strengthes anion adsorption, and suppresses back‐diffusion. As the number of thiophene units increases, structural reorganization, retention, and synaptic plasticity are enhanced, leading to improved neuromorphic performance in electrolyte‐gated organic ...
