Evaluation of Advanced Nonlinear Static Procedure [PDF]
Having very simplicity, nonlinear static procedures (NSPs) are the most popular tools for estimation of structural capacity. These approaches construct a graphic display of the overall structural response via a pushover curve. The overall response of the

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Robustness analysis of a nucleic acid controller for a dynamic biomolecular process using the structured singular value [PDF]
In the field of synthetic biology, theoretical frameworks and software tools are now available that allow control systems represented as chemical reaction networks to be translated directly into nucleic acid-based chemistry, and hence implement embedded ...

To accurately analyze structures, soil-structure interaction effects must be taken into account. One approach is to create a complete finite element model of the full system wherein the soil is represented as a semi-infinite domain. This direct method is frequently adopted in research studies, but it is typically avoided in engineering practice due to ...

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.
