Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

This paper is concerned with two sample rank tests for scale alternatives. The two samples are assumed to have continuous distribution functions with the difference in respective location parameters (medians) known. Various rank tests are considered and compared from the point of view of limiting Pitman efficiency for normal and nonnormal alternatives.

Nonparametric Tests for Multivariate Association
Testing the existence of association between a multivariate response and predictors is an important statistical problem. In this paper, we present nonparametric procedures that make no specific distributional, regression function, and covariance matrix assumptions.

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Adaptive Nonparametric Tests for the Generalized Behrens-Fisher Problem
Some adaptive test procedures are developed for the generalized Behrens-Fisher problem. The one having a deterministic approach is based on calculating a measure of symmetry from each sample and using them as a basis for choosing between the ...

Bayesian nonparametric tests via sliced inverse modeling [PDF]
We study the problem of independence and conditional independence tests between categorical covariates and a continuous response variable, which has an immediate application in genetics.

Consistent tests of conditional moment restrictions [PDF]
We propose two classes of consistent tests in parametric econometric models defined through multiple conditional moment restrictions. The first type of tests relies on nonparametric estimation, while the second relies on a functional of a marked ...
