Effect of Dupilumab on Airway Inflammation in Patients With Persistent Asthma

EXPEDITION (NCT02573233) assessed the effects of dupilumab on airway inflammation in patients with persistent asthma using bronchoscopy and gene expression analysis. Dupilumab showed no appreciable effect on inflammatory cell types in biopsies or BALF samples.

Effect of pain management, supervised exercise, and pelvic floor muscle training on sexual function in women with endometriosis: A randomized controlled trial

A multimodal intervention including supervised exercise, pelvic floor muscle training, and pain management was associated with modest short‐term improvements in sexual function among women with endometriosis. Findings should be interpreted cautiously due to differences in sexual activity status between groups.

Consensus surrounding the management of VA ECMO and left ventricular mechanical unloading for cardiogenic shock (CS) is limited. We thus conducted a national survey of practice patterns in the treatment of CS to characterize such variability, finding large heterogeneity in CS diagnosis, VA ECMO initiation, and LVMU strategies.

ABSTRACT This paper addresses the question of tablet technology in the Neo‐Assyrian capital city of Nineveh. Recent excavations in the lower town of Nineveh by the Iraqi–Italian Archaeological Expedition uncovered an exceptional assemblage of more than 200 tablets from an elite residence that appears to have included a scriptorium.
