Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Normalized ground state solutions for Kirchhoff equation with subcritical or critical perturbation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations
This article concerns the Kirchhoff equation with subcritical or critical perturbation. We establish the existence of normalized ground state solutions by using Pohozaev manifold and subcritical approximation methods.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Normalized solutions of Schrödinger equations involving Moser-Trudinger critical growth

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
In this article, we are concerned with the nonlinear Schrödinger equation −Δu+λu=μ∣u∣p−2u+f(u),inR2,-\Delta u+\lambda u=\mu {| u| }^{p-2}u+f\left(u),\hspace{1em}\hspace{0.1em}\text{in}\hspace{0.1em}\hspace{0.33em}{{\mathbb{R}}}^{2}, having prescribed ...

Multiple Normalized Solutions to a Choquard Equation Involving Fractional p-Laplacian in ℝN

open access: yes
In this paper, we study the existence of multiple normalized solutions for a Choquard equation involving fractional p-Laplacian in RN. With the help of variational methods, minimization techniques, and the Lusternik–Schnirelmann category, the existence ...

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Existence of normalized solutions for Schrödinger systems with linear and nonlinear couplings

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
In this paper we study the nonlinear Bose–Einstein condensates Schrödinger system { − Δ u 1 − λ 1 u 1 = μ 1 u 1 3 + β u 1 u 2 2 + κ ( x ) u 2 in  R 3 , − Δ u 2 − λ 2 u 2 = μ 2 u 2 3 + β u 1 2 u 2 + κ ( x ) u 1 in  R 3 , ∫ R 3 u 1 2 = a 1 2 , ∫ R 3 u 2 2 =

Normalized solutions to Schrödinger systems with critical nonlinearities

open access: yes
We consider a system of coupled Schrödinger equations involving critical exponent given by − + 1 = ||−2 + 2 + ||−2|| in R, − + 2 = ||−2 + 2 + || ||−2 in R.
