New SigD-regulated genes identified in the rhizobacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens FZB42
The alternative sigma factor D is known to be involved in at least three biological processes in Bacilli: flagellin synthesis, methyl-accepting chemotaxis and autolysin synthesis.

Psoriatic disease (PsD) is a chronic skin disease, with challenges in early risk stratification and drug development. Through gene‐level causal inference framework and expression level validation, combined with longitudinal cohort study, CDSN and PRSS8 have been identified as candidate biomarkers and therapeutic targets for PsD.

Scotin, a novel p53-inducible proapoptotic protein located in the ER and the nuclear membrane [PDF]
p53 is a transcription factor that induces growth arrest or apoptosis in response to cellular stress. To identify new p53-inducible proapoptotic genes, we compared, by differential display, the expression of genes in spleen or thymus of normal and p53 ...

MC‐LR stabilizes DNMT1/3a by blocking their ubiquitin‐mediated degradation, leading to Gpx4 promoter hypermethylation and E2F4/NCoR‐associated transcriptional repression, which drives renal tubular ferroptosis in mice. Pharmacological inhibition of DNA methylation (SGI‐1027) or ferroptosis (Fer‐1) disrupts this DNMT‐GPX4 axis, thereby alleviating MC‐LR‐

32P Radioactive Probe Synthesis and Preparation
To probe for a specific mRNA species by Northern blot, RNA from the agarose/formaldehyde gel needs to be transferred to a nylon membrane. RNA is detected by hybridization using a labeled probe.

Tissue-specific expression of high-voltage-activated dihydropyridine-sensitive L-type calcium channels [PDF]
The cloning of the cDNA for the α1 subunit of L-type calcium channels revealed that at least two genes (CaCh1 and CaCh2) exist which give rise to several splice variants.

Schematic diagram depicting the proposed signaling mechanisms underlying the effects of FBXL4 in the setting of cardiac hypertrophy. Under hypertrophic stimulation, cardiomyocytes‐specific overexpression FBXL4 maintains sarcomere integrity and cardiac function by enhancing K48‐linked ubiquitinated degradation of PFN1 at the K70 site.

All‐PEG‐Like Block Copolymers Self‐Assemble into Stealth Nanocarriers for Drug Delivery
Self‐assembling nanoparticles composed entirely of POEGMA are engineered by exploiting side‐chain–dependent amphiphilicity and tunable thermoresponsive behavior. These single‐material nanocarriers encapsulate diverse hydrophobic drugs with high efficiency, retain therapeutic activity, improve in vivo efficacy, and evade anti‐PEG antibodies.
