Pseudorandom number generation based on controllable cellular automata [PDF]
A novel Cellular Automata (CA) Controllable CA (CCA) is proposed in this paper. Further, CCA are applied in Pseudorandom Number Generation. Randomness test results on CCA Pseudorandom Number Generators (PRNGs) show that they are better than 1-d CA PRNGs

Novel accelerator structure couplers [PDF]
Recent experience with X-band accelerator structure development has shown the rf input coupler to be the region most prone to rf breakdown and degradation, effectively limiting the operating gradient. A major factor in this appears to be high magnetic fields at the sharp edges of the coupling irises.

Co-community Structure in Time-varying Networks
In this report, we introduce the concept of co-community structure in time-varying networks. We propose a novel optimization algorithm to rapidly detect co-community structure in these networks.

Input effects on the acquisition of a novel phrasal construction in five year olds [PDF]
The present experiments demonstrate that children as young as five years old (M = 5;2) generalize beyond their input on the basis of minimal exposure to a novel argument structure construction.

ABSTRACT Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...

Formation of α-Hemihydrate Inside of a Gypsum Crystal during the Dehydration Process
Gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate) is one of the most used inorganic binding materials in the world. During calcination, calcium sulfate subhydrates are formed and, for technical reasons, are mixed with water to form dihydrate again.
