Three-Dimensional Reconstruction From a Single Satellite Image via Iterative RGB-D Completion

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Reconstructing three-dimensional (3-D) scenes from a single satellite image remains challenging because reliable metric depth is unavailable and many regions are occluded, which limits the geometric observability and appearance evidence required for ...

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

EG-HumanNeRF: Efficient generalizable human NeRF utilizing human prior for sparse view

open access: yesComputational Visual Media
Generalizable neural radiance fields (NeRFs) enable neural-based digital human rendering without per-scene retraining. When combined with human prior knowledge, high-quality human rendering can be achieved even with sparse input views.

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Circulating microRNA signatures of cachexia and cancer in Canis familiaris as a comparative oncology model for human disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

Shadow-Aware Point-Based Neural Radiance Fields for High-Resolution Remote Sensing Novel View Synthesis

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Novel view synthesis using neural radiance fields (NeRFs) for remote sensing images is important for various applications. Traditional methods often use implicit representations for modeling, which have slow rendering speeds and cannot directly obtain ...

View synthesis for depth from motion 3D x-ray imaging. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The depth from motion or kinetic depth X-ray imaging (KDEX) technique is designed to enhance the luggage screening at airport checkpoints. The technique requires multiple views of the luggage to be obtained from an arrangement of linear X-ray detector ...
