Spatial Layout of Trees on Farms Influences Magnitude and Timing of River Flow Peak
Effectiveness of agroforestry as a lowland NFM strategy is spatially modelled for a range of planting layouts. Peak flow for a 10‐year storm was attenuated by 2.6% and delayed by 19 min with just 0.6% catchment tree coverage under riparian planting alone. Increasing coverage provided a strongly diminishing return in flood peak attenuation.

What's new? Cavity carcinomatosis, a late manifestation of cancer, fuels tumor formation throughout a large area, most commonly the peritoneal and pleural cavities. The condition also can lead to resistance to otherwise effective treatment strategies.

We present a case of anti‐AMY1‐positive lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) with severe hyperamylasemia. To our knowledge, no previous cases of LUSC have been reported with both histological evidence of amylase production and hyperamylasemia. This case provides new evidence that LUSC can produce amylase and cause hyperamylasemia. ABSTRACT A 74‐year‐old

A 2‐year‐old female golden hamster presented with non‐pruritic alopecia of the hindquarters. Diagnostic imaging and cytological evaluation revealed a unilateral adrenal mass consistent with an adrenocortical tumour, while biochemical analyses suggested corticosteroid secretion.

Abstract Due to the increased intensity and frequency of droughts under a warming world, agricultural irrigation demand (AID) is likely to increase in many regions of the world—not just in semi‐arid and arid regions, but also in temperate regions. Small reservoirs have often been touted as a decentralized solution to increase water supply resilience ...

A Socio‐Hydrological Model for Adaptive Water Allocation in the Heihe River Basin
Abstract Sustainable management of river basins requires an understanding of how water allocation responds to the human decisions driving it, along with the subsequent economic and ecological consequences. Current models often consider water allocation decisions as single and discontinuous events, overlooking the continuous and adaptive nature of human
