Integrated core–SOL–divertor modelling for ITER including impurity: effect of tungsten on fusion performance in H-mode and hybrid scenario [PDF]
The compatibility of two operational constraints—operation above the L–H power threshold and at low power to divertor—is examined for ITER long pulse H-mode and hybrid scenarios in integrated core–scrape off layer (SOL)–divertor modelling including ...

Temperature measurement and examination of E to H transition in vacuum ICP plasma [PDF]
In this paper, we first briefly describe the constructed Inductively Coupled Plasma Source device, ICP-13.56, which includes two vacuum and atmospheric pressure torches. Afterward, focusing on the vacuum-torch operation, we discuss the plasma temperature

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Numerical Analysis of the Electric Potential and Field in Concentric Spherical Grids of an IR-IECF Device and Investigation of Particle Dynamics Using Particle Tracing [PDF]
In inertial electrostatic confinement (IEC) devices, an electrostatic potential well accelerates ions toward the center of a vacuum chamber, and the grid geometry plays a decisive role in field uniformity and particle trajectories.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
