Preliminary Studies of Thermal Wavelength Approximation in 208Pb and 91Zr hot Nuclei [PDF]
Level density parameters of 208Pb and 91Zr in equilibrium states have been calculated with a new fugacity approximation namely a thermal wavelength approximation. In this approximation, the fugacity is directly proportional to the nucleon density.

Nuclear Level Density Parameter
The nuclear level-density parameters obtained in the Yukawa folded potential approach are presented. The particle-number averaging ({N} averaging) Strutinsky shell-correction method is used to extract the shell-correction energy and its change with temperature and the macroscopic nuclear energy for 130 spherical even-even nuclei.

The role of the nuclear level density in spallation neutron studies [PDF]
The influence of the nuclear level density parameters of the various nuclides determined recently on the neutron yields, produced by 0.8--1.4 GeV proton bombardments of thick tungsten target, was investigated.
